Whether you’re seeking time with a good book or something more adventurous, spring time in Kiama shines! Our event calendar is packed full with everything from international sporting competitions to seaside music in the shape of Folk by the Sea Festival and vintage car shows.

Grab a car or bike and head up the mountain to take in the stunning views or get lost in nature with one of our many bush walks. If you’re after a little more, check out the Illawarra Fly for the highest zip-line in Australia!

Autumn

Experience the magic of the continent with our Coast Walk stopping at any number of local cafes and restaurants along the way. Get a feel for our relaxed vibe with local art and music on offer almost everywhere you look.

Festivals range from music to the arts with the Kiama Jazz and Blues, K.I.S.S. Arts and Gerringong Surf & Music Festival taking centre stage.

Our abundant coastline has many wonderful fishing spots to cast a line, or take to the seas with our charters. If you’re feeling competitive check out the annual Blowhole Big Fish Classic.

Winters here are busy and fun. However it also offers a chance to indulge and unwind — all things massage and pampering please! Our favourite thing to do? Rugging up, grabbing a coffee or tea and go whale watching. Maybe you watch from the comfort of your holiday home or from our land-based whale watching platforms in Minnamurra or Gerringong. Or head to a restaurant with a view — you may get lucky.
