BEACHES
With nine beachs in the local Kiama area, you will be spoilt for choice. We offer some of the best surfing on south coast, beautiful golden sand, rock pools and plenty of parking nearby.
Jones’ Beach – access off North Kiama Drive, Kiama Downs. Jones' Beach is patrolled by the local surf life saving club at the north end and is a popular surfing beach.
Bombo Beach – access off Riverside Drive, Bombo. Bombo's north end is very popular among the more advanced surfers. This beach is also patrolled during the summer months at the north end.
Surf Beach – access off Manning Street, Kiama. Surf beach is Kiama's main beach, set around beautiful parkland and within walking distance to the main shops and restaurants. It offers plenty of parking, along with barbeque areas.
Kendalls Beach – access off Bonaira Street, Kiama. Known for its small surf and protected beach Kendalls offers a great place for families to come and swim. Kendalls also has barbecues along with a play set and grassy areas for the young ones.
Easts Beach – access through Easts Beach Holiday Park on Ocean Street, Kiama. A large quiet beach, Easts Beach is a lovely spot for children with long small sets of waves.
Werri Beach – access off Pacific Avenue, Gerringong. Werri Beach is one the best surfing and bodyboarding beaches on the south coast and also offers plenty of space to sit back relax and enjoy the spectacular views that Kiama and the local area have to offer.
Seven Mile Beach – access off Crooked River Road, Gerroa. Possibly the safest surfing beach in the area, the natural scenic beach strecthes for seven miles from Gerroa in the north to Sholahaven heads in the south. Renowned for its safe surf it is used by a umber of the local surf schools.
